People interested in the different ayahuasca ceremonies will have a preliminary conversation with the Shaman or Healer who will perform the ceremony, to allow the latter to diagnose the physical and emotional condition of the person and know the interest they have regarding the use of the Master medicinal plant and so that a relationship of trust can be created between the participants and the person who will perform the ceremony.

Day 2: The day of the ceremony

Ayahauasca ceremonies are performed at night, in the sacred valley from 7:00 p.m. and this, to have a better response to the effects of the Master Medicinal Plant.

Effects of Ayahuasca:

After about 30 minutes after ingesting the medicine, the participant will have a different perception in their body and feel somewhat disoriented, like something similar to the effect of alcohol.

Possible vomiting or expulsion of the ingested drink may occur, but without any bad smell of vomiting, since only what was taken is expelled.

In some possible cases diarrhea can serve as a purge for the organism or simply, it is possible that the participant does not feel any of these sensations and this will depend a lot on their physical and emotional state, as well as if he / she correctly followed the indications given by The Shaman and the agency.

Then, the participant enters a trance and begins to have visions, exploring his life, in an interrelation with the Cosmos and the Universe and many times, a contact is established with the “Pacha Mama” or Mother Earth. But, regarding the visions that one can have, it is not a constancy in all people and this often depends on the general state of health of the participant, as well as their physical, mental and emotional mood. The effects of the plant last approximately 3 and a half hours, depending on the general conditions of each participant. (Of course, if the participant is blocked or did not do the exact indicated diet, they will generally not have any visions).

After the hours of transit have elapsed, the participants will feel somewhat tired and will simply rest until the next day, and then retire at their respective hotel.
